| Can anybody recommend a good traditional/rustic restaurant in or around Esentepe or a nearby village? |

| You have several good options that spring to mind for Cypriot food. Tumba at the start of town on the left (nice stone building inside) and Hatti's in the back streets (follow the signs) in a cypriot house are both good. A more basic but very good value and food option is the Esentepe Restaurant roughly 2/3 's of the the way up the hill into the village but has plastic chairs concrete floor and nice warm stove.
There are more mixed european/ cypriot menus at places such as the Esentepe Villa hotel as well.

| Zerdali cafe bar is also very good, there is also a new one opening next to the petrol sataion and if it is as good as it used to be under it's old guise the pizzas will be great, have to second the Esentepe restaurant the chicken chops are great, Good curry at poppin along the coast road about 1 mile, also at Kucuk Erenkoy Stevies bar is quite good

Excellent steaks at the Esentepe Villa Hotel
Poppin on the main coastroad if you enjoy a curry.
