| Not been in Cyprus since last May/June. Arriving late March. Can anyone let me know how long a sim card remanls valid, with a balance on it, before the provider cancels the card and number. |

| i think all you have to do is top it up to reactivate it even if you have credit on. it used to be as long as this was done within 1 year it was ok after 1 year you would need a new sim. if i am wrong someone will correct me. |

| I vaguely recall reading the info that came with my dad's SIM and it said something like if inactive for 120 days then you can only receive calls then after something like 9mths you'd have to top up in order to reactivate. I think something like Denise says, after 12mths the no. expires. You might be ok. |
