Warming up beautifully, not to hot and weather like a English summer. The flowers in the mountains are still out, and no rain in April ,.

Weather like an English Summer? LOL English Summer here in the North East has been wet, cold and windy for the last Century!

It is the most beautiful time of the year April/May in NC, warm during the day and in the evenings but not too hot, about 70 Fahrenheit during the day.

The days are warm and sunny but you will need a jacket for the evenings, as once the sun goes down it can feel chilly. Don't make the mistake that a lot of people make and only pack shorts and flip flops. Pack some long trousers for the evening.

Should be ok, although last April you folks in the UK had better weather than us! I would pack a bit of everything, it's not predictable, the seasons seem to be all over the place over the last few years.

We find the pools ok, as coming from a chilly GB we find that the temperature is fine, think if you live in the climate of NC all year round , you tend to wrap up more than just us visiting ..
