| The ‘Third Country National’ term, is used in the context of migration, referring to individuals who are in transit or are applying for visas in countries, such as in this case the RoC (who are EU members), that is not their country of origin, in order to migrate to destination countries that are likewise, not their country of origin but are within the EU, the scheme is funded by the EU and as such is unlikely to be rolled out to the TRNC which of course isn’t a member of the EU. The scheme is not intended to improve the education of existing drivers. And if you think it's bad in the TRNC you should try driving in Madrid or Mumbai! |
