I can find older threads on this subject and I wondered if the contact information was the same or if there were new people that were here. Any advice would be great thank you :0)

We use the Near East University Dental Faculty. Brill private treatment at a fraction of the cost of Private on the "high street".

On the outskirts of Nicosia, just along from the Girne road.

(as you hit the bypass from Girne turn left, then next left, the NEU is 1 km up there).

P.S.

It IS a Dental school, and you will have students there watching the expert working on your teeth.

The Students do not work on your teeth unless you agree.

We don't find being watched bothers us. My wife had full implants 2 years ago, £9K the lot!!!

We also use NEU they are really good, some people say they try to do other work on your teeth, but this is up to you and if you don't want that part of the treatment you just say, as they are trying to give you a perfect set of teeth. Also a friend of ours has had major work done on his teeth, including inplants he also is extremely please with the work and "the costs".

My wife had a extremely bad experience with a dentist in Girne, this is how we ended up at NEU.

There is no such thing as a gentle dentist they are all sadists.

Having said that Mrs H swears by NEU, Hippo continues to be a baby.

The lady down the side street, whose name escapes me, by the Savoy is extremely gentle and speaks excellent English.

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist and go to Smilecare near Passport restaurant. She treats me like a 4 year old, is very kind and patient, speak good english and tells you everything she is doing. I would recommend her.

No idea what area you are in but we have both used Dr Sultan Erenkoylu at the Yasam Hospital in Famagusta recently. she was recommended by several other friends who were very happy with her work. She is a lovely lady and is very professional (and gentle !). She speaks good english too which can help.

Contact details are: mobile is 0533 860 9925 or for the hospital 0392 366 86 00.

Without a shadow of doubt ..

Tulga Bahadir is one of the best if not the best ..

I called in to his surgery on Friday to make an appointment, just at the right time ..

He extracted the tooth on the spot .. Didn't hurt one bit, and I hate visits to the dentists ..

Thoroughly recommend .. Tel 0932 815 8780
