| I have been in a couple of taxis that have a sat nav and asked them about this. Firstly their sat navs were purchased in the South with Southern Cyprus pre installed. Apparantly there are no maps of Northern Cyprus available. They only used them for `new` drivers to show the way to Larnaca airport etc. |

| You can find information on full Satnav, including point-to-point route guidance, for TRNC here: - http://www.eranav.com/era_english.html The system & mapping is not compatible with Garmin devices As far as I know, no Garmin compatible mapping for TRNC is available - please correct me if you know better Use the 'search' box at the top of this page to find discussions on this subject on the Forum Positional information can be displayed on many devices such as iPad, Android etc, although the level of detail may vary, and route guidance may not be available Open source maps (which can be imported into some devices) can be found here: - http://www.openstreetmap.org/ - note that this mapping is complied by volunteers, and carries no warranty! Other digital mapping is available at http://www.maps.google.co.uk |
