Loading Cyprus onto a Sat Nav, does anyone know how

I have a Garmin Nyvi sat nav and have tried to download Cyprus, but it wont show. does anyone know of Cyprus can be downloaded and how to do it

I have been in a couple of taxis that have a sat nav and asked them about this. Firstly their sat navs were purchased in the South with Southern Cyprus pre installed. Apparantly there are no maps of Northern Cyprus available. They only used them for `new` drivers to show the way to Larnaca airport etc.

The system & mapping is not compatible with Garmin devices

As far as I know, no Garmin compatible mapping for TRNC is available - please correct me if you know better

Positional information can be displayed on many devices such as iPad, Android etc, although the level of detail may vary, and route guidance may not be available
