Massive Booming in mountains today

Have been listening to this booming sound since about 7.00am. I wondered if a start was being made enlarging the Gecitkoy reservoir?



If not, then is it the soldiers training?



Our windows have really rattled today.

Do they work on Sundays.



They have been at it now for 6 hours so must be something big. Might go and have a look at Gecitkoy this pm

see if there is any activity there. Certainly was not yesterday as we went to Guzelyurt market - all was peaceful. I am always surprised not to see more 'resting' migratory birds there. Lovely sheltered reservoir.

Yes, our whole house is vibrating with every boom too! We suspect, from the direction, that it must be the start of the extension on Gecitkoy reservoir - please let us know if you do go and look? I suggested we might take a drive but got the 'glare' instead
