Can anybody please recommend a good traditional Restaurant in the Lapta Alsancak area. Taking a friend this week and must be able to cater for a vegetarian and have great Meze selection. Plus need to know that they are definately open this week.

Dokichelim before Tempo at Karalanoglu/Alsancak, turn left off main road signed, also signed for Carpenters. Live traditional music Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. Great value, lovely people and graet service.

I too recommend Cenap in Alsancak. A meze like no other in my opinion, although many of the dishes will be meat. My wife and youngest daughter are both vegetarians - both still enjoyed the Cenap experience.
