Bill payments in north cyprus

Hi folks we have an apartment in Tatlisu, and we'd like to pay our bills ourselves (not though the management company), what's the best way to go about this?

Talk to your bank. They will set up direct debits or whatever so you don't have to worry. Creditwest have been doing all our bills for years now.

It's easy to do, but allow a bit of time, as they fill in and you sign lots of forms. Our was done by Türk Bank in Magusa. We were there nearly 40 mins!

Kinzo, if you go up to the Ikisatbank bank in Tatlisu village you can open an account there, you need to take a passport. Take your utility bills with you and they will set up direct payments from your account. Unless it's changed they are only open three days a week (can't remember which day's but i'm sure someone else here will know). You'll get an account book which can be brought up to date when you visit. Girls speak good English, one of then used to live in London.

Put credit on your bills then top it up when you come over.
