A friend of mine is planning two of the following business ventures,



1- To open a DVD shop in Esentepe

2- To open a chemist in Esentepe



Opinions by all would be very appreciative

A chemist would be excellent. DVD shops are everywhere and a competitive market. Also how long will it be before pirate dvd's are allowed? Chemists stock drugs and all the additional items such as cosmetics, toiletries etc. Think of the large sites from Esentepe to Tatlisu, plus all of the residents living here permanantly who drive to Catalkoy for the first Chemist. Go with the chemist if your friend is qualified to run and prescribe on his own or would they have to employ somone.There are more than enough DVD shops everywhere for people that dont download them anyway off free sites.

People will always want medicine whether pre Dr or otherwise and office hours are more desireable.

As has already been mentioned, a pharmacy wıll open at Esentepe near the SENCAG supermarket, probably end of may. I think part of delays were around finding a qualified Pharmacist willing to travel from Girne. It looks to be sorted now, so probably scrub that one and instead go for a proper, decent grocery store instead.
