| You don't need to 'register' - you can use any clinic / doctor that you wish. At the private ones (Özel = Private) from what I've seen, the minimum charge is usually something like 80TL per consultation - but the 'posher ones' cost more. Also any of the testing labs in Girne will do the tests for you - tell them why you want the test, so that they know what to test for - you just need a doctor to interpret the results. The State Hospital in Girne (coming from Esentepe, go straight across the roundabout, past the Pia Bella, and it's on your right) - or in Lefkosia, will also have a specialist who can do the checks for you - just present yourself at the reception counter and explain what you want - it'll cost a tiny fraction of private treatment, but you do have to queue, and they don't bring you a cup of latte coffee while you're waiting There are big plush private hospitals in Lefkosia, but you'd probably see the same chap, 'moolighting' from the State Hospital... |
