It was perfect, lunch outside, got lots of gardening done, then inside to have coffee and homemade 'Hot Cross Buns'.

Mild here in Devon, bit overcast, but NO rain !!!... gardening very day for a whole week without rain stopping play .... But still envy those in NC the coming months of all that sun and no rain ...

Our local "belly" must think Summer has arrived as we are already on restricted mains water rations after a Winter of hissing rain. What else did I want to spend money on other than water tanker deliveries ?

The pool is very chilly in April I'm afraid - I do go in for a dip (ex-Navy diver!) but only for about 15 mins and then only 'cos I'm paying for it so I feel I must use it!!



The days can be nice and warm (t shirt and shorts weather) but I would advise a sweater or wrap for the evenings.

Thank you Jonesy. I will have to re-think the pool situation! I am no ex-navy diver! I will also have to consider my luggage allowance....jumpers etc. weigh more! :( I'm really looking forward to it whatever the temperature, though. It will just be nice to be in Northern Cyprus. Thanks again for the advice.
