Just to let you know that Lokman is now the 'Patron' at Hillside Restaurant in Alsancak.

He used to be the cook / fryer at Queen Bar, before moving across the road to Hillside in the same role, and he has now taken over the running.

I can assure you that his Fish and Chips are every bit as good as they ever were - crispy and scrummy, I had them for tea tonight.

He's got Mushy Peas of course, and from next week, he will offer battered sausage and other traditional Cypriot fare...

Now that the fine weather seems to have arrived, the outside bar will be open of course, so I expect that the 'six o'clock crowd' will gravitate in that direction...

Vaughan! - dusty48! - Hippo! - did you get that?

Anyway, I wish him well.
