Go back into your history to the last time you could open hotmail and go in that way, works for me. Get rid of hotmail as there are too many problems with it out here. I switched to gmail 4 years ago for this reason and no problems since.

Tried that Chris but no luck. Maybe Hotmail is down for a while.

The problem with changing to gmail is that I have got thousands of emails in folders on my Hotmail account which I wouldn't want to lose. But I agree that gmail is far better.

Been trying to send photo's using Hotmail...

"Hotmail couldn't send your message because the server was busy. Please try again later"

Did use it earlier today without any problems.

I had same problem yesterday, could see inbox but could not open any e-mail, ran a program from malware which identified 2 proiblems, erased them and touch wood no more problems.

Go in through a different browser. I couldn't get in with google but could with internet explorer.

Been having problems with Hotmail for past couple of months with regard to receiving, sending, deleting, replying to emails. Like the Oddmajor I would change to gmail which I am informed is the best, but don't want to loose emails I already have. But am told, however, that when you sign up to gmail you can get it to send a email to all your contacts telling them of your new email address. Plan to try it shortly.
