Can anybody give me information on my carob tree all of a sudden the bark is being eaten away and it is not doing to good. If it is a carob rat how do we get rid of them.

Any information would be helpful.

Paint a lime ring around the base of the tree about 2 mts high

Thanks for info will try that and thanks for the link it say rats get in the tree and strip the bark and then the bark dies.
