10,000 Free monthly SMS with Turkcell

Im sure most know about the free 10,000 sms with Turkcell on pre-paid credit.

Those that don't, put 20lira in credit on your phone,

message the word: tenthousand

and send to 1212

this gives you 10,000 free sms for one month - 3,000 can be used internationally.



Does anyone know any more useful tricks with Turkcell such as Free Credit etc?

i have this on contract it costs 12tl a month but they have changed the amounts to 9500 local and 500 international texts.

Cheaper on contract phones then i see, was 15 lira on pre-paid until they put up a small time ago to 20lira.

and i think you are correct also it is 500 international texts, not 3,000 as i previously said

You don't get 10,000 sms messages, you get 10,000 characters per month to use I believe eg Hello = 5 characters.
