Can someone please advise us who we can contact as when we lifted an inspection cover outside our property we discovered that it is full of faecal matter.



Does anyone know if the Belediyesi provide a service regarding this sort of problem?



Any Sensible replies will be appreciated. All the usual jokes have already been made.

I think the law here is that you must keep it for three months and if after that time nobody claims it - you can keep it!

It sounds horrible but... try loosening it with a hose (watch out for 'splashback' (yuk!!)) as it might just be a build up and it will wash away.



If not you'll probably have to contact the bellie and see what they can do...

Lapta Belediye will organise a pump out for you but it may not happen very quickly, from experience! They normally seem to use Vindanjor from Alsancak so, if it is urgent, ask the Belediye to call them for you and you will get the Belediye price them not the private contractors price.

Sometimes the cause of this problem is not enough of a slope on the concrete, may have to smooth this out to stop.... pardon the pun, the s**t sticking.
