Thank you to the Lapta boys who do the roadside cleaning.

They have been doing the grass trimming here in Karsiyaka, and happened to notice we had friends over for lunch on our porch. They stopped short of our place, went on down the road ..... and yesterday, came back to finish!

What thoughtful behaviour - I just wanted them to know we appreciate it.

Ah that's so nice. There are more good than bad here, as everywhere. Most times though,

you only hear about the moans.

I'm sure Berke will read this and pass it on to the bosses. Well, I hope he will.

Yes, Lapta council have been uniformly excellent in my experience.



I met Fuat Namsoy last week at the tulip festival, and thanked him very much for the great work they have done in Karsiyaka - all he kept saying was I know the roads in Karsiyaka are bad but we are going to be doing a lot of work on them this year !

Totally agree, great bunch of lads, they do a great job. They even took a load of builders rubbish away from the top of our road. Alaways happy and having a laugh.
