Strong My neighbour has Supreme and that requires an internet connection and 2 sat dishes. I have Dopi and that does not require an internet connection but needs 3 dishes. I think both systems supply roughly the same amount of channels via Hotbird and Nilesat satellites. I was impressed with the installation of my system and the easiness of use. The pricing for Dopi as it stands is £550 for installation and first years subscription and then £150 every year then after. I am not sure but I think Supreme run a different pricing structure with the cost of installation being less than Dopi but the monthly subscription cost's work out more. If you have any questions then between myself and my neighbour I am sure we can provide the answers. AJ

Take Dopi none of these systems are 100% perfect and sometimes you lose the picture, however Dopi is more stable.

Does anyone know with Dopi TV can you have 3 dishes installed to run 4 apartments in a block. All with their own receiver but just the 3 dishes? It would look strange if we all wanted it and there were 12 dishes on the roof!!!! Also maybe a much cheaper option if can be shared. Lee

We have Digital Supreme on our house, it includes 2 dishes as somebody said, and yes an internet connection. If you want TV and a Net connection you cant go wrong with Digital Supreme. We havent had any problems with them yet. They also offer a BT phone line for £20 a month unlimited calls to anywhere in the world, this was offered to us while subsribing to the service. Its worth it to pop into their office.

Dear Kofalking re msg 11 >>They also offer a BT phone line for £20 a month unlimited calls to anywhere in the world<< Only BT - or an approved agent - can install BT phone lines.... I'm quite sure DS are NOT BT approved ! This must be referring to some sort of voIP ( Voice over IP ) - internet service. Re msg 10 Leethe mille YES, you COULD have a DOPI system that was shared through an apartment block - using multi port LNBs on each dish or a multiswitch system However, and I'll probably be banned AGAIN - for this - offer to pay monthly - not annually - as their service is using a EU based satellite to broadcast the pirated decryption signals - and they will lose the ability to decrypt - and one day you WILL see "a this channel is scrambled" msg For those of you who say - HA ! you've been saying this a long time - wait and see ...

Message 12 - Well they must be an approved agent then, as they offered to install a line for us when we purchased our TV and Internet from them. It is something you need to check out before you purchase the BT line. As i said we havent done had that installed yet, so right now it isnt a problem, but thanks for the advice

Dear Kofaliking re msg 13 I assure you they are NOT BT approved and it is not a "BT line".. I just talked to a mate who is a BT approved reseller ... I raised your comment . The only way they could be connecting with BT is via the internet or a POTS ( plain old Telephone service) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plain_old_telephone_service line and some sort of bundled deal, locally. STILL sure it would be some sort of voIP service.. If you have a decent connection you could have some sort of unlimited deal using BT softphone - if you have a UK tel number and BT internet or a piece of kit plugged into a ADSL line from the UK - say Vonage ( vonage.co.uk ) - that allows you to have a "UK line" and UK tel number - for anywhere in the world. I'm sure someone from DS can confirm this..

re msg 15 >>It only has 2 dishes but one of them has 2 recivers on the end.<< Hmm - if only TWO dishes - somethings changed..! F1 is available FREE from BBC via a 1.8m offset dish ) - ask Iceman ( skycyprus.com ) and any old SKY receiver - no subscription card necessary. Just tune to chl 503 ( BBC news 24 ) and press the red ( interactive button) - works for Wimbledon coverage, too !

msg 4; dopi charged me £175 when I renewed last October. The only problem i have with dopi is they will not "freeze" the account. I have to pay for 12 months and I'm only in Cyprus for 7. Digital supreme do freeze accounts, as do my internet provider, Nethouse. Tony
