I am taking on board what members are continually complaining about and I hope that the members who continually go off topic and highjack threads will start to take note and cease doing it.



Hopefully with like minded support we the genuine members will and can get this board back to what is used to be....informative, helpful and humerous.

puppylover my reply was humorous but I think this must have passed right over your head, there was nothing harmful in my reply and it kept the topic from sinking down the board in to oblivion before some members had the chance to see it, because for once we had a topic relevant to TRNC!



I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for showing me the error of my ways what with me being a relative newcomer to the board (only joined 20/10/07), you will also note from my post count that I am not a Power Poster and only normally post useful information, but in light of the recent debacle on 44 I thought an attempt at humour was appropriate at this time. Obviously I was wrong.



Would you now please start moderating some of the more vile and vitriolic posts still showing. Thanking you in anticipation.

I have been a plumber for years,and what windmill is refering too is the slang we use when talking about a leaking fitting (prostate ).

So i would hope puppylover,coach & the like have it in them to say sorry to windmill

Why not just have a separate thread type thing where people can put names, trades, phone numbers email addresses etc , of people we can recommend and trust, seems to be the easiest way to do it and then no searching about, posting threads waiting for a reply.

billybuck...If what you say about a leaking joint is correct then I do Apologise to Windmill,But you have to accept that both puppylover and myself thought that he was referring to the medical term ,hence her moderation and my agreeement with decision.Too often threads do get hijacked on this forum by peoples attempt at humour,I am as guilty as the rest, then the whole context of the thread is lost.

Mison was not advertising,she was recomending a good plumber which I have seen several people on this board asking for...

Too old to worry about being a NIMBY ,what ever that maybe.....
