Rumour is that a Honours list of New moderators is to be published on the forum.



So far I have not received an invatation, but would be keen to take part.



anyone else think they would make a good and fair moderator ?

I would suggest that anyone with any criticism of the moderators should be invited to take up a moderators post for a week just to see how they get on.

kenny thank you but i dont always i hate anybody hurting my friends i have been hurt many times here but i always smile. maybe its 12 years being a stewardess on the national airline or maybe cos im irish and we even laugh at overselves i dont even enjoy all of you even dee. kenny dont wish to rain on your parade i know you are trying to lighten the mood but wyn has been goood to me please do not even include him in this. i will willingly go in your BB house anyttime and hold my own xxxxxxx

I don,t know whether its a moderator rule, but I feel it would a prudent idea if once a moderator has included their own contribution to any thread, they should not be able to moderate that particular thread in any way. Any moderation if ever necessary should be left to other moderators. Just a thought.

Cronos, Well you have to be impartial and fair. You have to be able to seperate yourself from the messages and see what reply you would have given.



I would say a couple of members do get up my nose a little, but Iwould not moderate them unless they were rude to others or they were hijacking a thread, or going around in circles. I would always leave a reason for moderating and if it is not liked then take it up with the Chairman of the Board.

I agree with Pilgrim once a Moderator has made a comment on discussion and it may start trouble they should leave it to a other Moderator to take the decision NOT the person who started it in the first place.
