Army Base Property near Club Z

Does anybody know if there are any problems with the land and buildings being made behind Club Z in Kyrenia,as it is fairly near them Army base there?



I know blossum properties have a board up there,and I read on this website that some people were having problems with Army camps in Lapta. regards,Steve

The Turkish army base you're talking about is a high security military jail (containing murderers and rapists, not that foreigners would be told) and I would be wary about buying near there as PTP is unlikely to be forthcoming.

May depend on how far away you are from the base? not sure where you will stand if you are refused the ptp....

Dear Turbo,thats the site,its at the back of this army base. I went past in November and the diggers were just laying pipes. Two minutes walk from the base,but a lot of new building going up around. Given the negative views posted on here,thought it might be best to sound people out who may have property or consider buying from Blossum. Blossum appear to have a mixed reputation,any advice would be useful,cheers,Steve

There are various reasons for military personel to be detained under military law, but cases of such gravity as mentioned, must be tried under civil law in their own country, which in this case is Turkey.

It might interest you to know that I have just obtained my Permission to Purchase in respect of the Blossom Kyrenia development near to the Zeus Club. There is however a major problem in as much as there has been no building progress on the site for at least 12 months.

oh dear that don't sound very hopeful and one assumes nothing from the builder as to why nothing is going on on the site ?
