Good morning all I want to display a ceramic plate either on a wall or free standing. Am having trouble locating a shop that sells either plate hooks or plate stands. Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase either? Thanking you in anticipation.

They sell them in 1001, I usually use the one on the way to Famagust, but there is a branch in Girne.

Hi puppylover, If you are thinking of hooks in the wall, make certain you buy the special ones for hard walls. Because the walls are mainly concrete they are extremely hard and I couldn't get a normal picture hook to go in. I ended up buying them in England and taking them out. The Butlers wife

Hi girne 29, Believe it or not they are plastic hooks with 4 very fine steel pins in the top. You tap the steel pins into the wall. I must admit I have never seen them in TRNC and I took mine from Uk, after being unsuccessful with the usual picture hooks. I bought mine in the local DIY store and they come in 3 sizes. I will be back out in TRNC end of March if you would like me to bring you some. The Butlers wife.

thanks the butlers wife. Never looked as didnt know they existed I am in uk but back before you, so will try B&Q. What I tried to use before were the brass type, probably what you used first, but they just bent .There is next to no plaster before you hit concrete.
