Hi has anyone got or could tell me where to purchase a small box to send a gift to my granddaughter in Thailand the present didn't come in a box it measures in length 20" and depth 5/6" (I don't do centimeters), can't send it in a large box because of the cost of postage, also any bubble wrap or chippings, If anyone could help I would be very grateful, many thanks. I have looked in the card shop and Deniz Plaza they are very small and square. Smithy

Thankyou all for your replies, and old shoe box with lid would have been ideal but its not long enough, depth is fine, tried cutting an old box down but wasnt stable enough, maybe a boot box would be fine, but I have never kept them, as no room, why is it now you think why did'nt I keep that it might have come in handy, perhaps if I asked nicely in a shoe shop or could make them understand they might have a boot box, Many thanks again. smithy

jay76, your idea of an old shoe box, got me thinking, that would be much to small, but if someone has a pair of boots that they don't need the box that would be perfect, thank you so much, I would never have thought of that idea, some people on the forum are so helpful it blows me away with their kindness. smithy

Hi Sheila, Was thinking about you the other day. My Granddaughter was here for Christmas and she loved the pink bike and the electric piano thingy I got from you - what a racket but what fun! I'm sure they will love your gift.

- Packing Material- Save old newspapers for a few weeks before your move. Newspapers make good packing material for most household items. The more delicate and valuable items in your home do require a little more than newspaper, though. Bubble wrap, foam peanuts, and blankets provide excellent protection for items you don't want damaged. ~BoxYourStuff.com~
