Well I will be spending Christmas at home (england) with my mother and the cat, who will probably eat more turkey than both of us put together.(can eat for England that cat)

My husband is working abroad and it will be the first time we have not been together at Christmas. Hopefully it will be the only one we shall spend apart.

Back to UK next week from Iraq after being away for 11 weeks.

Arrive on 15 Dec, Saturday, and it's a quick 'hello I missed you terribly darling' and straight up to Liverpool to watch the game against the Mancs on the Sunday, which is a terrible strain on the marriage but has to be done.

rest of the break will be spent rebuilding the relationship

Oh and a day at Cheltenham races on New Years Day which will be good.

Kitty

The Ship Inn are putting a meal on for GBP 25 per head, if you go on there web site you will see the menu http://www.theshipinn.com They have entertainment on.

Because our place is at the TBV Esentepe, Have booked at the Ship for an overnight stay, on New Years Eve, to do away with the Drink Driving. This is GBP 17.50 per head. Were is the Mercure Steakhouse?.

Hi Bob,

The Steakhouse is in the Mercure Hotel at Kervansary. Fab hotel and the Steakhouse is truly a fine dining experience. If you check out this month's Living In North Cyprus magazine, there's an article all about it.

Thanks for the recommendation, will certainly check it out. xxx
