| Re Mess 1 Hi Pipie I had a ckeck up and a good clean and polish back in October and it cost £20 GBP. Back in May i lost a front crown whilst on holiday and had two done for £250 GBP, excellent job and my dentist in the UK wanted £350 to do one !!. The dentist i use is in Girne and his name is Nural Temelci he is on the road from the fountain past the electric substation towards Zeytinlic. | As far as I know, dentists have to conform to a government scale of charges. At the present time, this means 80TL for a checkup and clean. The cheaper alternative is to go to the Near East Uni. dental department. A friend went this week and had x-rays (4), a full check up and assessment of necessary work and was only charged 50TL. As they are a training school, the usual government price rules probably don't apply. |
