44 Best Properties section on Cyprus44

Hi Izzet,



The 44 BEST PROPERTY section is only 20 deep, where are No21 upwards? The locations all seem to feature Resorts/Villas on the East side, what about the West Coast and Central Kyrenia developments like Catalkoy, Alcansak, Lapta etc? I saw quite a few developments popping up all over the West Coast, but none are mentioned here, are they so bad that they do not even make the Top 44 grade?

Interestingly the most popular property on the site is Esentepe Pine Villas which is owned by Mainland Properties. In an earlier post I asked for details about them, Izzet do you have any info?

i think the only site in the first 20 to be on the west coast is aphrodite in guzulyurt ,whitch i think is about 45 mins from kyrenia,do not know much about other sites on the west coast but this site is the furthest away from kyrenia as far as i know, apparently it is a very nice site with good build quality we have brought a apartment there also the area is supposed to be lovely.as you say the west seems to be the least talked about.

Mainland are new to TRNC. they have taken over the sites of NCP who had money trouble. they sound like a big firm.



i dont think Izzet can have rated them as 1 to 44, more likely it is the best 44 that Izzet has found? i dont think it is possible to say which site is best as there is a lot of personal opinion involved (one mans meat is another mans murder). perhaps NCP's old sites are at the top because Izzet worked for them and they are the first to spring to mind and he knows them well?



am i right Izzet?



if so it might be better to take off the numbers as it could mislead people into thinking the numbers are a ranking!

I did consider Aphrodite when I first thought of a holiday home, but way too far west for me is Guzelyurt, as I want something closer to the action during the quieter periods of the year, with minimum effort and travel required. I hope that Izzet has this information, would be good to find out if others are considering these resorts.
