Hire Car from North to South

I am here in North Cyprus on Holiday. Can i take a Hired Car from the North to the South, as i want to vist my girlfriends for a girly night over in Larnaca.

sorry to hijack this post but was wondering if you get a hire car in the south and then go north but your flight into larnaca doesnt get in till 1am can you still get the required insurance? Is the insurance offices at the borders open 24 hours?

yes the border is open 24hrs and there is always an insurance agent there.
