Somebody holidaying for the first time on their own although not the first time to NC. Any recommendations for hotels/apartments/cottages? Want to feel safe and also not isolated. Have seen a B&B with good reviews on Trip Advisor called Villa Mimosa in Ozankoy. Anybody know it or stayed there? Sandie

If you want a hotel & not be isolated try the Pia Bella. It has a good reputation & we have friends who stay there every year. You can walk into Girne centre from there. It has large pool, nice rooms, very large outside terrace area which is popular in the evenings & friendly staff.

Hi sandie

I often stay at OSCARS, I contact them direct, B&B for £17 per night, great facilities, Sea views, ( grounds on the shoreline ) you can stroll into the old harbour / town.

Ask for a "villa" ( no extra charge )..you will have self catering, a Dining / lounge area ( Bedroom up stairs )...all for the same price. ( eating out is very reasonable )...it has an indoor pool, sauna, and gym ...you can stay in the villa with B&B
