Just had a call from a friend who has informed me that 6 dogs have been poisoned today on Karsiyaka beach. PLEASE do not take your dogs walking on the beach until whoever is doing this is caught. The police are involved.

joandjelly Was just thinking the same thing as your post. I wonder if we dog owners went in mass to see the Muhtar it would make him aware how concerned we are in Karsiyaka.

Police involved ??? that means they will do nothing at all just like they did recently when 11 dogs were killed in Karsiyaka village. I think it would be a great idea if dog owners from Karsiyaka went on mass to see the muhtar - surely then he cannot ignore it.

Teresa. That's two of us then. I will ask the moderators to make this a "Sticky" subject and if there are more people prepared to join us then all we have to do is agree a date/time. Is that agreeable to you? *Moderators....Please can this be made a "sticky"....please. Thank you.

Do you think it might be good idea to set up some kind of vigilance on a rota basis. Dont know the layout of the beach but is there anywhere someone could sit in the car out of sight from the beach but still be able to see who comes and goes? Just a thought.

suzieQ....you are counted in...thank you! deecyprus...we can but try!! Whistler.....sounds good in theory and I would be more than willing to give it a try. The problem being it is not only Karsiyaka beach being hit. Poison is also being thrown over garden walls.....where do you start?
