You were lucky, it depends on the days you want to travel or you were unlucky and could have been even cheaper had you booked sooner! Pegasus rates are good until you hit the last seats on the plane.

Ok if you want to drink that insipid flat fluid the South calls beer, try a proper pint the Hippo says Theakstons, Boddingtons or Marston pedigree. Call a spade a spade my dear woaman dont dress things up in pleasentries. |

Simbas you are the sweetest most innocent person on this board, Hippo is being extremely offensive towards ppl who live in the south of england..sadly some northerners have a large chip on their shoulder, still makes a change from them eating them every evening as that is their staple diet with mushy peas and gravy, usually accompanied by a pie cos they cant chew meet as some of them dont have teeth, due to the fight after the match on a saturday.. Good ole maggie thatcher, she allowed em to buy their council houses, those that could afford to buy,( most live in tower blocks) then they sold em, thought they was rich, bought here along with the obligatory 4x4, put their 10 grand in the bank and now they all moan about the interest rate cos they are all skint and cant afford a russian or moldovian to keep em warm cos their wives have all become shirley valentines and are having a romp with the turks. some advice, betta hope the tories get back in then you can get a new council ho

Kav: if you go to our web site you will find a link under "airport services" to one of our suppliers if you use it each time we get a few pence per booking (so I would thank you) They have a large selection of parking options and they have a "never knowingly undersold" type of policy too! We use them or our link to holiday express for our own parking when we use Stansted not Birmingham on our way to Turkey or North Cyprus. Tom

I agree with taz666, what an insult to Northeners, at least we actually know our neighbours, in the North you can say "Good Morning" to someone without the other person thinking you are out to mug them, I lived in the South many years ago and couldnt wait to leave, some people too busy commuting to the smoke to make lots of money, hence can't be bothered for mere chat with a neighbour, PLUS we have the best "Chippys" Saveloys,` YUK` Personally I think you are just jealous

I have lived in Swansea , Worcester , Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire with diverse cultures and peoples .So you could say i've lived North and South and West . I loved living in those places , and they all bring their own qualities and their downsides . I do'nt think we should take offence at the comments made , i'm sure it was'nt mean't that way . It was'nt so long ago that some people were ridiculing Welsh people { of whom i am one } and in their opinion , what they were doing with sheep, and some of it was not very nice . And while i'm sure they were only joking , you did'nt hear me bleating [{ pardon the pun } . Regards , Simbas

I believe they have introduced English on the national ciriculum now in the South. (just) Wheres there is muck there is brass lad. If you would like to check the national statistics you will find there are more Home owners North of Birmingham than south of it, and a larger percentage of 4x4 owners south of it. Jump in the old RR for waitrose old gal. I also think you will find a larger percentage of northern teams at the top of the premiership. You should read a very good book called 'When the Queen went to Scotland for the Grouse Shooting'

I must join in this conversation and inject a bit of humour, where does the queen live most of the time, where is her official residence, where are the houses of parliament and lords, where is the commerce dealt from, where is big ben, where is the stock exchange, etc etc, what's in the north ermmmmmmmmm...blackpool illuminations, blackpool illuminations and oh yes, blackpool illuminations HA HA HA ...and I am a sort of northener, I hail from Cheshire.

Hippo, When you referred to Northern teams being at the top of the premiership, I thought you must have that wrong. Then I realised you were talking about the round ball game, where they fall over when someone gets near them. The Rugby Union Premiership only has two Northern teams in it, three from the Midlands (below Watford Gap) and six teams from the South, of which three are at the top. I hope you take this in the spirit it is meant and I now realise that I am about to be slaughtered by the Rugby League fraternity.

Quote The Rugby Union Premiership only has two Northern teams in it, three from the Midlands Quote The Hippo laid a trap (a bear trap) and a large ursine fell right in. Cast your mind back a little my misguided softie southern friend Middlesex 7's Wigan result please? oh sorry not to keep the rest of the readers in suspence they wiped the floor with the rest. Bath v Wigan at Twickenham or as the toff's call it Aitch Q bath given a lesson. Now i'm not particulary a rugby leauge fan but i do know a little about RU. How come Aitch Q squirmed and writhed when they realised thier precious Harlequins were going to have to play Div 1 they postulated for 2 years to find an excuse not to let them in the same with Leeds kept moving the goalposts (sorry) did they not. Granted you lot have three teams in the premeirship LI play not in the Capital and we have Sale (pretty good though arnt they)

They even denied sammy Southern an england plae because he had once as a schoolboy played a little rugby leauge. Sean Edwards probablly one of the best coaches in the present game dont think he comes from Tower Hamlets does he? Apart from the odd big Game ie which they hold at Aitch Q anyway, Sale has bigger crowds than either Saracens Harlequins or Wasps, and you get genuine supporters there not the Fur Coats and nay Knickers brigade. So my nesh friend get thy self up that M6 get down the East Lancs Road and spout your southern propaganda there i am sure the lads who once had a job (down the pit) till your southern parliment closed them will listen sympathetically. And as for D Cyprus have you no washing to do love?

Pegasus used to fly from Glasgow and I wish they would again. It is very difficult as others say, to fly to N.Cyprus if you are north of London, especially in the winter. Last time I actually had to travel overnight by coach to Ldn. to make sure of getting flight which I will never do again. Instead of building yet another runway at Heathrow it would be better to have more flights from the rest of the country (the huge majority of it!)

Hippo, I'm not one for stopping fun, but I actually want to read stuff on this thread about Pegasus flights to the TRNC.... not Rugby. My fav sport is Rugby and would love to chat about it, but I would like to have thought we would have a Rugby thread, so we all know where to go to to talk about it, not buried in the thread about flights. That's all i'm saying...... Mc

Msg 62 - I agree as I must be among many who want a thread to be continuous or yet another thread starts on the same subject time and time again. Not all of us can take the time to search posting after posting to see if the answers we want are being given. (Or in my case if I can help someone with an answer they want.) Start a thread on Rugby or even soccer and we will probalblynot post info. on deeds, flights etc. there.

Hi Hippo, We give more help and advice over varied bb's yes there is a vested interest but the time taken does not get paid for by the sales made. I also think it is polite to the originator and those willing to assist to let the original post and valid responses take precedence and happen freely. To Quote Mc in Msg 62 "Hippo, I'm not one for stopping fun, but I actually want to read stuff on this thread about Pegasus flights to the TRNC.... not Rugby." To that end I will respect the posters and keep off this thread unless it returns to the questions and answers about "new Pegasus prices". (Someone please just let me know when that happens.)
