In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document.
1. One Membership Per Person
Simple rule. If we notice you have multiple memberships, all of your accounts will be immediately banned.
If you already have multiple memberships, please email Izzet off board as soon as possible.
2. Do Your Little Research Before Asking
Use the popular forum tags function to read similar posts.
Make sure to use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.
3. Be Polite
We take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously. We do not tolerate any rudeness. Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully without insult and personal attack. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning.
4. Respect The Forum Admins
Forum admins have the final word. If you have a problem or a complaint, email Izzet off board. Do not post it on the board.
Forum admins do not need to explain their actions. Do not complain about this.
5. Freedom of Speech
We respect every member's right to post his/her opinions, on all issues except ones questioning the legality of TRNC.
If you do not accept this rule, do not join to the board.
Any violations of this rule will result in immediate banning of your account.
6. Defamatory, Wrong or Misleading Posts
By joining this forum, you agree not to post any defamatory, wrong or misleading posts about any person or any company on the forum.
If you do so, you may subject to legal prosecution. Your member details and your IP Address along with the time of your postings may be given.
7. Keep The Focus
Posts outside the scope of the question asked in the initial (first) post may be deleted without notice.
8. New Topic Titles
Use a title that describes the content of your post. Do not use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
Do not post one-word titles under any circumstances.
9. Personal Posts
Do not post member specific questions. Eg. "Who is LittleIzzet?" or "John please call me today as I am leaving home soon"
10. Jokes
Use "Joke: " in front of the title of all joke posts.
Do not post more than one joke per week.
11. For Sale Items
Use "For Sale: " in front of the title of all for sale item posts.
Do not post the same item twice under any circumstances.
You are allowed to reply to your post only once to bring it back to top.
For Sale posts will no longer be shown on the forums homepage, but only on the "for sale" tag page which is also linked at the bottom of the list of threads on homepage.
12. Event Posts
Use "Event: " in front of the title of all event posts such as restaurants/bars holding special nights.
13. There is NO Account Cancellation
Once you join, you cannot
cancel your membership.
Once you post, you cannot delete your post.
Do not join our forum, if you do not agree with this rule.
14. Valid Email Address
You need to have a valid email address on file.
A verification email will be sent which you will need to act upon to confirm your email address.
You may not be allowed to post until you confirm your email address.
15. Member Photos
Only personal photos will be uploaded.
We are trying to build a community here, so please send your face photo.
We will not upload photos of your pets, cars, etc.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any photo as we see fit.
Visit "Edit Member Info" page and click on the Member Photo to send us your photo by email.
16. Posting Links to Other Forums
Posting links to other forums is permitted with the discretion of forum admins.
Pointing out something on another forum for information purposes, is acceptable.
Nevertheless, linking to one specific forum repetitively, for the purposes of advertising that forum, will get you banned.
17. Restaurant Postings
Only one thread per day will be allowed with regard to the subject of any one restaurant. Threads will be deleted without warning if multi threads are evident.
We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed of current forum rules.
If you notice any rule violations in our forum, please email Izzet off board.
Posts that violate any of the rules will be deleted.
Members that repeatedly violate these rules will be banned.
