President Talat leaves for Switzerland to meet Kofi Annan

President Mehmet Ali Talat will be leaving for Geneva, Switzerland tomorrow ahead of his meeting with the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.

The meeting between the President and the UN Secretary General at the Palais Des Nations is scheduled to take place on Monday at 11:30.

President Talat is expected to convey the Turkish Cypriot people’s willingness towards restarting the Cyprus Negotiations process at the meeting.

The President is being accompanied by his chief of Staff Asim Akansoy and head of press relations Emine Davut.
