Cyprus Turkish Tourism at ExCel

The ‘World Travel Market’, a leading worldwide tourism fair, opened on Monday in London at the ExCel Centre in London’s former Docklands where more than 5,000 professional Tourism related businesses will be in attendance. It will close on November 9 and receipts are expected to be GB£ 23,000 million. Northern Cyprus attended the fair to present its natural and historical beauty.

Enver Ozturk, The Turkish Cypriot Minister of Economy and Tourism, visited the North Cyprus stand at the WTM chatting with the several travel agency representatives. During a visit by Atilla Koc, Turkey’s Minister of Tourism, a press statement was released in which Ozturk said that 2007 was of great importance in terms of Northern Cyprus tourism. He stated that he was happy to hear that the contribution of the Tour Operators had a positive impact on the promotion.
