Klerides: Papadopoulos sees Turkish Cypriots as minority

The former Greek Cypriot leader Glafkos Klerides has said that Tasos Papadopoulos has always seen the Turkish Cypriot people as a minority.
The statement was included in a book containing his memoirs on the Cyprus issue, written by Niyazi Kizilyurek.
Glafkos Klerides also stated that Mr. Papadopoulos has never accepted the Turkish Cypriot people as a community.

According to Mr. Klerides, the reason behind Mr. Papadopoulos’ rejection of the Annan plan was that the plan foresees the equal political rights of the two sides.
