Hi, Can anyone tell me if they have made a start the new Marina, I know they got the green light for the go a head but it seems to have gone a little quiet.

My apartment is B4M I am going over in the Easter break 3rd April for a couple of weeks so if I can help anyone please let me know. I have had my snagging list done by Tim Cheetham from NCI and Evergreens rep fairly lengthy list but I think mainly cosmetic, looking forward to going over but I'm not sure if the whole site will be ready by then but fingers crossed it is.

I have an apartment overlooking the 'new marina' and can see the site clearly from my balcony.

I am out there on the 4th April and will report back if there is any activity.



Don't hold your breath, I have see so many deadlines come and go!

Marina has been started was up there last week machines and diggers already on site digging out very close to the sea. dont think this is for anything else but a marina.

the fact that there's movement down there at the marina at last is fantastic news - great for those who have property there - I hope their investments will pay off

i have a house in yeni erenkoy they have been working on the mariner here for 3 years and it still looks like it is going to take that plus the large concerte moulds machine are here i think this is going to go to i should think to that site next as not seen another here and would think this is a moltie milloin $ unit so i would not exspect any big movments yet and 5 years at least till the first bout palls in

I think it is about time a few people bothered to get a map of TRNC

some people dont know thier Bogaz from their Baspinar.

So here is a Geography leson

Yeni Erencoy north coast- Marinia being built by David Lewis partnership despite Busyees statement work is not progressing well very stop start completion date uncertain.

Port Cyprium marinia developer Altan Hussain-proposed start march 2009 completion not specified.

Bogaz- a bearthing facility is being constructed part of which may be a marinia



There are two other proposed marinias one on the north Coast and one on the South coast-still in negotiation stage.

Kyrenia harbour now being brought under ministry of transport control some redevelopment may take place dates uncertain.

New marinia proposed between Kyrenia old harbour and new harbour plans submitted awaiting finance and difficulties with antiquities and the proposed shoreline corniche by Kyrenia Beliyder

I do have a map of the TRNC, unfortunately it does not show future marinas, and I have lost my crystal ball.
