Lee, Welcome to the board. Yes i've been several times and yes it's not the most beautiful of structures, but are you saying that the apartments are not to a high standard or built with top quality materials. If you are I am suprised. I have been to every Sea Terra developement and only saw good stuff. MC

Hi Stores, The trouble I have found here in Northern Cyprus is that they don't seem to have any idea what landscaping means. Unless you employ a Brit you will not get what we know as landscaping. On our site there are 2 gardeners employed and they don't have a clue, when weeding they just pull off the heads and leave the rest of the weed in the ground. When they grass seeded a large area they just put the seed on and then turned a hose onto it and now they are wondering why the grass is not growing. I have to bite my tongue every time I see them at work. The Butlers wife

| Welcome Stores, Sea Terra Marina may look like Colditz from the road but the apartments are very spacious and well designed. As for landscaping, I think they have done a very good job, the planting is excellent and only requires time to mature. Of course, each to their own, but it is a good site and adjacent to the beach. | Paulie, So how do you think things have panned out for you at the Marina then? I presume you are an owner there! |

hi stores, you cannot be a prospective buyer at marina because it's all sold it is always problemmatical to "design" a development in an unspoiled area but seaterra well-deserve their recent gold and platinum awards so it is worth considering the newer seaterra bay and seaterra reserve: the bay has stunning views over the mountains and the sea and the low rise apartments are beautifully laid out with patios and terraces there are two secluded bathing beaches and a workout centre landscaping has been an uphill struggle due to the climate but greenery and plantlife is now coming on apace there are a few penthouses still going, but hurry! seaterra reserve is priced even more attractively, it is up the mountain opposite with sparkling clean airs just perfect for walking, hill scrambling and biking but is also quite sophisticated having a spar and club and overlooks a forested ravine so no-one could ever build in front completion is due by the end of this year and by general agreement the seaterra staff are the friendliest bunch you could imagine! their office is just north of the main road catalkoy-girne, above the entrance to the new port andre

Crikey I think I need to sell my place and buy one of these Sea terra places. It sounds like they are turning dreams into reality.

Millzer Not an owner on Sea Terra Marina, but a relative is. Am thinking of buying there though. There are some apartments for resale which were originally bought by investors. I suppose its like anything in life, what suits one won't suit another. I can only say I found it very pleasant and the owners there are all very friendly. There is a bar adjacent to one of the swimming pools which is quite nice and they organise bbqs so you get to meet others should you want to. The pools are cleaned every day which I think is good. The apartments are spacious, 3 beds 110sq m, or 2 bed 75sq m, and well laid out and finished. It is a bit remote, but I like that because you can drive to Kyrenia in 30 mins should you want more action! Hope to come back over again later in the year to give it another try!

cannot fault Sea Terra locations espesially the Marina as they have there own entrance to a beutifull /quaint fishing Marina , the front apartments enjoy full frontal sea views that are totaly unubtrusive , it is situated in a very private setting , with mountain views to the rear , the front apartments have 38ft balcony's that are not overlooked enjoying utmost privacy , and to top it all a rugged beach is also on the doorstep , so all in all a very sought after location .

the only provisos are: property markets throughout the world are very subdued this is always a good time to buy rather than sell new member "stores" whose interests are unknown, may object to the very idea of seasde developments however well executed and however gorgeous the setting... if not, perhaps he could suggest one or two that in his opinion are more attractive than marina andre

Getting back to the Marina location , there are two minimarkets in the vicinity , 3 restaurants and a fantastic take away pizza , that is the best on the island imo , the very important issue going for the Marina is that that there are no water cuts , unlike the west side where water shortages are a real problem . Another plus is Ercan airport is just 30 minutes away , Larnaca i hour, no congestion on the roads whatsoever .
